Björkhaga
Description
Number of people: 4 adults + 1 child under 3 year
The cottage was built around 1750 and was later sold to Lessebo Mill. It was inhabited by forest workers employed by the mill, who also managed the Tällekullen forests until 1972 when the property was sold to the Noregran family.
The house has been expanded in stages over the years. It is modern but has tastefully retained its old charm. During the latest renovation, the loft was refurbished, including the addition of extra bedrooms.
Björkhaga is beautifully situated by a pond, bordering cultural landscapes and scenic walking areas.
The house features running cold and hot water and electric heating.
Outside, there is a small building for firewood, equipment, and bicycles, along with a wood-fired sauna and an outdoor toilet. A terrace with garden furniture and a brick grill is available. Beside the house, there is an idyllic pond with a rowing boat.
